The 2009 season will conclude Once Upon a Mattress with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer.  Once Upon a Mattress retells the story of the Princess and Pea by Hans Christian Andersen.  Princess Winifred the Woebegone is on a quest to marry Prince Dauntless the Drab.  Standing in her way is the Prince’s mother, Queen Aggravaine who vows to prevent the marriage at any cost.
